Welcome to my web page.  There are parts of it that are still somewhat under construction, and for that I apologize.  I work on this as time allows.  If you find anything currently here that doesn't seem to look right or work right, please contact me and let me know.  I would definitely appreciate the heads-up!

Do I overload classes?  This is probably the single most frequently asked question of me, at least at the start of each semester.  The short version of the answer is "no."

Math classes at RVC are too large as it is, and maintaining reasonable class sizes is crucial to the quality of your education.  In fact, the Math Department at RVC feels strongly enough about this that we have instituted a No Overload Policy for all of our classes.  If you want to get in to a math class that is currently full, for any reason, your best bet is to check with Online Services (see link at top of page) daily to look for possible openings.

Personal Stuff?
Ever wonder if your math teacher might also be a human being and have interests other than mathematics? Some people figure that I must have a cot set up at the college and live there 24/7 doing math geek stuff.
It just ain't so!
