Attendance
You are required to login at least twice a week to check and complete all
posted weekly assignments. Some assignments will require you to have discussions with your
peers and/or your instructor.
Students are required to email comments on each other's papers. These comments should
always be constructive, aiming to help students identify and follow up interesting
threads, clarify ambiguous points, or present other points of view that a writer could
consider. Student comments will be posted to the course EdNet site and will form part of
the class discussion. EdNet activities constitute part of your participation grade. An
email address, EdNet training sessions, and paper comment guidelines will be provided. |
Make-up
Policy
Discussion session or grammar presentation delivered late will be given a
maximum of half-credit.
Papers must be turned in on time. Late papers will receive a letter grade deduction per
day. You must work through at least two drafts before you turn in each graded paper.
Failure to participate in required revision or editing sessions with typed drafts in hand
will result in grade deductions from the final draft. |
